PROFIT:

Share ideas with colleagues. Increase revenues, Maintain patients or clients and generate new referrals. Get new ideas from professional business management teams. Learn about changes to the Medicare rules as well as updates to managed care guidelines. Learn to increase your bottom line by better understanding you’re billing options and limitations and of course HIPAA guidelines and electronic medical records. Learn how to recruit, hire, and maintain staff, motivate and maximize performance.

PERKS:

Social opportunities, Networking for referrals, and personal discounts for select services. Membership card to be created to identify members of the Health and Justice Alliance. Group can offer members discounts at locals business and reductions in fees to other members services and well as complementary consultations for services offered b y membership affiliated companies. Educational events offered for staff of members such as office managers, paralegals, referral coordinators etc, catering to their needs and the growth and success of their business.

Educational events for personal development; (Topic to be determined by educational team)                                                   EX: Stress management, Time Management, Life Balance, and New Technologies’

At each monthly meeting we will have a speaker facilitating discussion on a relevant topic for the group. Speakers and topic to be determined by the executive committee. This is not to be a sales pitch but rather an interactive educational  event.

Create a speakers bureau of Legal and Medical professionals who will be able to go out in the community to represent the HJA at Women’s’ groups, Networking events, Senior Communities, Men’s Clubs, Temple or Church events, School Events or Corporate events.

Future development: Create a clinical research team that contracts with Pharma or medical companies to manage research projects that can be facilitated and compensated for in our membership medical practices.

Speak with pharmaceutical companies to investigate joint ventures in terms of educational  events.

 

PHILANTHROPIES:

Health and Justice Alliance to sponsor three major annual fundraising events for charities to be selected by the Executive committee. Any member may submit a charity they would like to be considered.  HJA any local events.

 

 

GUIDELINES:

  1. 1-Membership limited to Legal and Medical professional, Paralegals, ARNP, PA's.  Office management or staff only allowed attending with a member. 

  2. 2-Meetings to be held in the evening, location to be determined. 

  3. 3-HJA to have their own bank account open to the executive committee for review. 

  4. 4-HJA to create its own calendar of meetings and events. 

  5. 5-New potential members attending meeting should be free first visit and may only attend 2 times without joining. 

  6. 6-Individual one on one meeting to be schedules between members to exchange lead for the benefits of both parties. 

  7. 7-HJA members should be able to attend all PNA vents 

  8. 8-Should HJA and Legal chapters merge or should we have a separate Medical chapter only? 

  9. 9-No new members may join who are not medical or legal professionals unless approved by a majority vote of the executive committee. 

  10. 10-All members need to be courteous to their colleagues and punctual to events please.
